About Us
A Small Start. A Family Business. A Lott of Heart.
Family-Owned. Family-Oriented
Meet the Owner
After the birth of my first daughter, I knew I couldn't simply return to a traditional full-time job. My daughter needed my care, but I also wanted to help my husband with our family's expenses. So I started cleaning for three clients a week—clients who were kind enough to work with my schedule and understand that I was balancing work with being a mom.
At the time, I was also in college working toward my degree in Business Administration.
What started as a way to create a little flexibility for my family quickly became something much bigger.
As I gained more clients, I realized I was able to make as much as, and sometimes more than, I had made working a traditional full-time job. I also realized that I had found something I truly enjoyed.
So in August 2017, I decided to take the next step and officially build my own company.
And I haven't looked back.
A Business Built Around Family
My daughters were in middle school and high school when I started the company, and they grew up alongside it.
They've been part of my journey from the beginning, and today, my daughters and I are still involved in the business.
That's something I'm especially proud of.
What began as a way for me to be present for my children became a family business that has given me the opportunity to build something of my own.
Why Being Your Own Boss Became So Important
There was another part of my story that shaped the way I looked at work.
I had been dealing with health challenges since my first pregnancy. Then, in 2011, I experienced a stroke.
That experience was a wake-up call for me.
It made me realize how important it was to have a career where I could have some control over my time and make decisions based on what I needed to do to take care of myself and my family.
Building my own business gave me that opportunity.
And I will always be grateful to the clients who gave me the flexibility and understanding I needed while I worked toward getting better.
Today, I'm still here. I'm still cleaning. I'm still managing the company. And I'm still building something I'm proud of.
In fact, this became my favorite job I've ever had—and the career I hope to retire from.
Trust Comes First
When you invite someone into your home or business, you're trusting them with much more than a cleaning job.
You're trusting them with your space, your belongings, your privacy, and your time.
I don't take that responsibility lightly.
When I hired my first cleaning technician, I made sure they were background checked, properly trained, and prepared before they ever stepped foot inside a client's home.
That same standard continues today.
I want our clients to feel trust and confidence when they see Office & Home Cleaning at their door.
We listen to our clients instead of simply walking in, rushing through a checklist, and walking out. Every home and every business is different, and we take the time to understand what our clients actually need.
Our goal is simple: to provide dependable cleaning while treating your home or business with the respect it deserves.
Built on Relationships
One of the things I'm most proud of is that many of the clients who trusted me when I first started are still with me today.
That means more to me than any advertisement could.
It tells me that the relationships we've built matter.
We respect our clients' time, their homes, their businesses, and their privacy. We also understand that life happens, which is why we work hard to be dependable and communicate when something unexpected comes up.
After all these years, I still believe the same thing I believed when I started with those first three clients:
When someone trusts you with their home or business, you never take that trust for granted.
